Born at Silchar in 1971. Completed graduation from G. C. College n got a job in public sector undertaking (LIC)at age 20. He is now working there in the capacity of an officer. Couldn't pursue regular studies due to job timings. So completed LLB and bachelor’s degree in education BEd (1st class) from night colleges. Closely associated with social and cultural activities. His articles are regularly being published at leading newspapers of this region. Written several stories /articles and edited good numbers of souvenir and magazines. Since last four to five years he is conducting /anchoring TV shows. The programs are highly accepted by the people since these are mainly based on social and current topics. Recently writing a book which is scheduled to be published in the last part of Sept. Though he visited several parts of India, but his prime interest is to explore the history and culture of Assam. With this goal he travelled remote areas of Assam and collected themes for his writings.
