I am retired senior secondary teacher and now working as Director of Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre Duliajan, rendering effective services for development of persons with disability from last 19 years. The courage to work for the person with disability comes from our only child Rituparna (Pahi) in order to develop her like any other compelled children. We have a small family with my wife Mrs. Amiya Pathok Borpujari and a daughter Rituparna.
My hobbies are to serve society and want to dedicate my entire life to help the needy.
Mission Statement:
I eagerly want to be a part of Breast Cancer Hub as because my motive is to serve people. In North east, especially in Assam, people were not aware of Breast Cancer which is a very serious issue.
Our organization Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation centre is established in January 1999 at Naharkatia focusing to fight for the right of PWD’s to offer them different rehabilitation services so they can live their life with dignity. In 2000 the organization has been shifted to Duliajan which now consist of 38 staffs and 120 students. http://www.mrinaljyotiassam.org/
We both work for the development of the society and working together will be more convenient for us to spread awareness among the people regarding both the issues in our society as well as yours.
