The session was highly interactive with lot of interactions later & my discussions & requesting to quit tobacco, paan, supari, zaarda, other carcinogenic ingredients used in Paan was taken positively. Northeast India is hugely influenced by use of tobacco (paan-zarda-supari-lime etc) and this is one of the major causes of high percentage of oral and other types of Cancer in Assam & other states of NE India. Thank you Ms. Vandana Thousen, Ms. Sanjita Bathari, Mr. Padamlungbe & the community head for organizing the session on behalf of Rotary Club of Haflong Hills & giving me the opportunity to spread awareness on early detection and prevention of Cancer
