Sri Sarada Sangha, Nutan Patty, Silchar Branch

My sincere gratitude to the organizing committee of Sri Sarada Sangha Silchar Branch, for supporting the cause. During my presentations, I always take a survey to get a pulse of how many women in the audience undergo early detection screening.  Mrs. Nibedita Chakraborty from Sarada Sangha came up and declared that she was undergoing screening tests since she is a Breast Cancer candidate diagnosed in December, 2016. I was so amazed, so willingly she agreed to speak about her journey and how due to her vigilance, she was diagnosed at Stage 1.

We had discussions on diet and lifestyle and also about many factors related to cancer and other diseases in general. Mostly, in all the sessions, I am trying to emphasize on avoiding intake of certain products, people in NE India usually consume and that acts as carcinogen.

Extremely thankful to everyone for your interests and all the respected women present in the audience giving  me the assurance that from now onwards, they will take care of their breast health and perform breast self exam religiously and also other screening processes when needed.
